I was thinking of getting a new music player for jogging purposes. Something compact but can store a lot of music. A friend suggested an 8gb ipod nano, there’s a purple unit available and it looks very slim and light. I’ve gotta check the pricing though and see if I can fit it to my budget.
My digital camera which is a Fujifilm is about 3 years old and for some reason it decided to stop working. The moment I turn it on it gives me this annoying beeping error with the code “Focus Error”. I was thinking of having it repaired but realized that maybe I could just go buy one of those cute olympus cameras.
Maybe one of those Hello Kitty ones like in the images above.

I think its a shame really that there aren’t that many shops here in my city that sells cute and fabulous Blackberry cases like the ones above. There’s a cell phone shop in one of the malls downtown but their display is pretty limited not to mention boring. There were lots of hard cases but they all come in plain colors and are rather ugly looking.
Yesterday was yet another boring day LOL so I spent my idle time surfing aimlessly on the web and look at what I found. Super cute swarovski embellished goodies. The computer mice are lovely … wouldn’t you agree? I wonder how much they’d cost.
In my line of work, a 3 in 1 printer is required as I need to scan documents on a regular basis. A friend of mine suggested that I get a matching scanner software to go with my newly purchased 3 in 1 printer. I am not sure if that is such a good idea since the printer/scanner that I bought from Lexmark has its own software. She showed me the interface of the software she suggested and it looks really simple and easy to use. I still have to check on the cost though and thing this over before I decide to spend money for it.
A friend of mine who lived far from the city always complained about how weak her cell phone signal is at home. Because of this there are instances when our text messages to her won’t arrive till several hours after or when we are unable to call her. she has been looking for a home cell booster like the image above to improve her cell phone’s signal at home.

When my first digital camera’s battery stopped working. I was told I could get it online on ebay or on any other web site. Ellen and her husband has been planning of opening their own internet cafe, book shop and coffee house all rolled into one. According to the blue print that Ellen showed us the establishment they plan on building is bound to be pretty large. The center would hold the coffee shop [much like Starbucks], the left side would be the book shop and on the right side would be the internet cafe. Ellen and her husband has been saving up for this for many years now and finally they’re able to make their plans into a reality. The constructions has been on going already and one of the things that Ellen is looking in to is what she termed a home security hardware that would work for their shop as well as for their home. According to her research clover electronics has several models and units available to cater to her needs. I asked her why she needs a security hardware and she said that part of operating a shop with three themes in it is bound to require security and even though they are going to hire a security guard that would not be enough. I have always fancied an iPhone since it became available here in the country. What has stopped from me from getting one is the ridiculously expensive plans that it came with. I ended up buying an iPod Touch 32GB instead, I was only interested on the music and video part of the iPhone so I settled with the iPod touch. This seems to be a much better route.
Later did I realize that the plans available also come with an iphone insurance making them rather expensive. I guess that’s probably worth it after it in case it’d get stolen or something like that then you’d have some sort of insurance to claim.

I love movies and anime so I had originally a 1TB HDD which was full by the time it decided to stop working. I was devastated waaaaa … imagine all the anime I lost because of that! Hhuhuh but I somehow managed to get them all back and safely tucked on another 1TB which by now is already full. Hehehe so just yesterday I bought another 1 TB HDD from Western Digital [all 3 of my hard drives are of the same brand] so at the moment I have 2 1TB HDD [WD Elements and WD My Book] and a 320 GB WD Elements. Weeeeeeeee … I’ll prolly get a 2 TB by June … don’t know what the brand will be.
I don’t own any of the images above but all of the hard drives I have look exactly like the ones above, they’re all in black though I did notice that for teh 320 GB there’s a pink which unfortunately is not available here in the country. *sigh* I would have loved a pink hard drive.
There are several digital cameras on sale at the mall yesterday and it was all of the great brands out there. If only I don’t have a camera already getting a pink new one would be super fabulous but since I already have a black Fuji 10.1 megapixel digicam from my auntie. The pink cannon I saw on display is amazing and is put out on a really good price, I should say it was a perfect catch.
If I am eyeing for a tv stand my neighbor who’s another shopaholic like me is eyeing for a rackmount lcd. Now this is what happens when you spend most of the time browsing at online sites when you’re s’pose to be busy working on handmade crafts lol. She sells online her handmade work of art that at times she just sits in front of the pc and go site hopping, in one of her hopping moments she run across a site selling the lcd and now she cant get it of her mind. Now tell me isn’t that cute or what???!!! I don’t really need a new flash drive as I already have one which is 2gb but seeing this online just made me think of getting one. On one of the many sites I’ve stumbled upon I saw other colors too and there’s this one design in purple I know Lovely would adore. lol Unfortunately though the stores we have here don’t have nearly half of these cute collections.
Though we have a working television set but I’d like to have one of the flat screen televisions on sale at the local appliance store here. The price has dropped significantly lower in the last couple of years and in time regular folks would be able to afford one of these. I just wish that I’ll be able to get one either this year or early next yar.
A friend at work is selling out techy stuff including PSPs, iPods, cellphones, laptops and memory cards, I got interested in buying a new memory card for my camera. What I currently have is just 1 gig and I feel it isn’t enough, it’s nearly full and though friends told me to delete or transfer pics to my pc to give it room I still want a much bigger one. Maybe I’ll send an email to this friend who’s selling and see how much he’s selling an 8 gig card.
My current phone is busted, I have no idea what caused it but all I know is I cannot send messages nor can I make any phone calls. Grrrr … perhaps its time I buy a new one.
When I bought the laptop sometime last January the computer memory installed on it was just 1 gig alongside a 160 gig hard disk drive. Used it a couple of times running multiple applications at the same time when I realized that it’d take forever for the pages to load in firefox and switching between application windows are taking quite a while too.
So after consulting a lot of people, friends and colleagues, I came to the conclusion that I need to add more memory to this notebook to improve its performance. I want it to run just a bit faster especially when running on multiple applications.
What on earth is GPS? I’ve been hearing these three letters the whole time am taking calls, MS Streets and Trips 2007 with GPS. The whole time I never understood what GPS is, what it stands for, what it means or what it can do. Now my curiosity got the best of me and I googled it while waiting for to completion of music downloads.
GPS or Global Positioning System is a satelilte based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites places into orbit by the U.S. Defense. Was originally intended for military applications but sometime in 1980′s the government decided to make available for civilian use.
As its made available for civilian use, many vehicles have GPS devices in them so as to track its whereabout in cases of carknapping and roadside assistance. Motorist with GPS devices can summon help or ask for directions through it. It’s also use to track the whereabouts of a lost pet, can check on the pet’s heart rate and temperature and location. And so on …
Am not sure if my phone has GPS embedded prolly not but there are various shops online selling brand new and used GPS devices at a reasonable price.
One of my many frustrations is understanding computer security and networking. A few of my colleagues are actually taking CISCO classes to satisfy their curiosity of the whole networking and security thingy. There are various schools in my area offering a course on it, accdg to them its per module and its difficult. Huhuhuhu … don’t have any educational background on techy stuff so am sure I’ll experience more than the regular nosebleed. Am still interested though … so interested that I ordered a used cisco
router from DigitalHoops Networks, Inc. as they ship internationally. Going out and scouring the flea market does not have any appeal to me at all especially as I have no clue on the do’s and don’ts in purchasing a router.
Am not sure on what I’ll do with it yet, my desktop is still not working … would probably purchase a new monitor for it but am notebook’s fine. Once my desktop’s up and running would do some experimentation on both computers with the router the moment it gets to me.

Was watching dvd last night with mom while foolin around my notebook, the introduction for the movie showing the producers name, Metro Goldwyn Mayer has this lion and ever since I was a kid I’ve always found it fascinating. The beauty of the lion and the sound of the roar for me is enchanting.
The sound effects on Jurassic Park was too good to be true for a novice like me. Never really thought about it, where its obtained from and how its done. I’ve always thought its there, its always available whenever producers, movie creators or whatever they’re called needs them.
