A friend of mine has been convincing me to leave my current job as it raises my blood pressure every so often and has caused me stress more than ever. Operation job search as she calls it is what we’ve been doing every time we happen to be online at the same time. So far we’ve found several sites providing us info on jobs abroad and locally but I haven’t decided yet. We’ll see.
In this time of the year it is expected that everyone will be gaining weight due to the parties left and right. So a friend of mine has already mentioned preparing some sort of fat burners kind of pills to counter the effects of the food she has been gobbling from parties she gets invited to. lol
As for me, being anti-social I haven’t been to a single party this year.
If you are interested in investing on any type of insurance it is advisable that you know the pros and cons first, you could get a life insurance online quote before signing up. It’s just a matter of searching online for the appropriate insurance company offering such a service. Google it and pretty sure there would be several results, read through them and see which one would suit your needs and budget.
I saw something like this in one the start up malls I visited last week and I thought their security cameras are rather obvious lol. I was thinking that these devices should be hidden and inconspicuous so as prevent potential robbers from noticing not until after they are caught in the act anyways. So when I saw it … I said to myself it must be because they just started maybe in due time they will change it.
Don’t you think this particular piece of ornament is perfect for any light fixture project? Well I think it’s gorgeous don’t you think so? Anyways you could actually get them for less than a hundred dollars, isn’t that amazing??? I used to think these goodies would cost a whole lot more but after doing a bit of search online I found a site selling them for a very good deal.
My rather frequent asthma attack has caused me to be back on steroids again second time around for this year and based on my experience being on steroids gave me tremendous weight gain and though my asthma made me loss some weight but now am back on track with the weight gain problem. lol.
*sigh* But I think weight loss would my least of my worries getting through my medication and staying well is the top of my list.
Christmas is fast approaching and right now I am looking forward to sales and huge discounts from malls with just about everything. But the primary item on my list is a tv stand I had this delayed till the holiday seasons hoping to get it on sale. Hehehe Most appliance stores would go on sale with just about everything and if am lucky they might have a few tv stands on sale. So patience is once again an amazing virtue.
There was this movie where in the family was living in a trailer van and I thought how cool that’d be if such a setup existed here it might be cheaper coz you don’t have to pay for monthly rent and what not. Then I realized that like every other type of vehicle there is also what is called a motorhome insurance which every trailer home owners must have. Then I guess that’s another form of rent???
Sometime last September the cute couple (D and Thea) went to Hong Kong and since I’ve been there myself I offered tips and what nots and truth be told I was very excited for them, it’s like am the one going there instead of them. lol. So when they got back they brought me this cute chopstick … awwww .. isn’t that nice???
Thanks much!
I’ve always wanted to see Europe since I was a little girl and mom used to say someday you will. Now that am of age am thinking of doing just that with or without companion though I’d prefer to go with someone, it’d be so much fun if you’re travelling with a friend. So Lizzy and I are looking for travel deals online and see what’d fit our budget. Hopefully we’d be able to put this into action sometime next year.

Not really a die hard Jennifer Aniston fan but I’ve grown to love her movies they’re light and romantic, she’s got this girl next door appeal that made the movie sweet. In this movie she’s playing the role of Katie … the girl who’s successful career wise but is still single while seeing her friends getting married one by one. And the leading man is Jay Mohr (he looks so cute here) and the rest is … *sigh* watch the movie and you’ll prolly love it. Light, simple and romantic.
Am not really your typical sassy girl and though there were time where I really tried to be one it was too taxing for me. My friends can’t go out of the house without light makeup and it’d usually take them more than an hour to get ready which is rather annoying if you ask me. I’ve seen Lizzy’s beauty corner in her room it consists of a huge mirror, table and a buch of day cream, lotions, lipstick and a bunch of other stuff I clearly don’t have a clue. I was told there’s a certain order to follow when applying them … arrrghhh!
I was done watching Season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and now am watching it’s spin off show, Angel which stars David Boreanaz, Charisma Carpenter, Alexis Denisof, Amy Acker and J. August Richards alongside James Marsters. I know this is so old school but boy am glad I finally get around to watching it. When this was actually broadcasted it was either I was too busy with school and being high school or the restrictions were just too tight or maybe both.
*sigh* I wouldn’t mind falling for a vampire with a soul as good looking and as brooding as Angel.
Looking through model houses alongside a good friend of mine is kinda an amazing experience, the model houses were not only beautiful houses with fancy paint colors and elegant gates and railing and French windows its also complete with all the possible furniture anyone could think of sofa sets, dining room, bedroom and all that stuff. So while looking through one of the houses the real estate agent is showing us and there’s this very elegant Murray Feiss chandelier displayed on the living room. So Faye kinda got attached to it and just vowed to get one of those chandeliers anytime soon.
Had she been alive today would be her 61st birthday. Spent some time in the cemetery to celebrate life and death and to remind myself that life must go on no matter what.
Mom’s 61st birthday celebration is fast approaching to so I asked my boss to approve my leave this Sunday and Monday. It’s time to pay my dues. Miss you Ma so much ….
Several insurance companies have come to the office offering us several sort of deals all very difficult to refuse not that they were really that irrisistable but because the reps are just very persistent. We get all sorts of insurance marketing campaigns from phone calls, to emails and now to text messages. Whew!! I wish they’d stop, they’re all annoying if you ask me, I mean if someone really wants to get an insurance policy am sure that person would come knocking on their doors. **Sheeesssshhh**
Someone said he’ll go get some sort of wheels before the year ends and I told him dude, wheels are a liability and he’s damn stubborn. So I guess all of us (friends) are in on the hunt for the cheapest and greatest auto insurance deal we can find. The target is before the year ends and he plans on using the coming 13th month pay to add to what he already has to buy that dream car of his. Hope it’d be enough by then, we’re looking at a 300 to 400 grand.
This picture reminds me of the setup at my tutee’s home, several classroom chairs and a table where we do our lessons and the activities that comes with it. I missed them already and I guess I was really enjoying myself which is good. It gives me little time to mope around instead I get to use my extra time coming up with lessons and activities for the kids.
I’ve been meaning to get a new pair of eyeglasses since last year but I’ve never come to terms of actually getting one. Time, money and a bunch of other things get in the way … lol and I’ve out of sorts lately, headaches and all that. But I’ve been searching online for cool and cheap deals and guess what I’ve found, $ 8 Rx eyeglasses online … literally 8 USD. They’ve even been given comments such as High Five to Zenni Optical and a friend said something about Zenni Optical on TV!!! some week ago. Isn’t that cool?
I know this is so old school but I’ve had the chance to get hold of a copy of the complete set from seasons 1 to 7 and am watching it one by one. I love it, I’ve always been a huge fan.
A friend of mine was gone for over a week as he had undergone an operation called apendectomy all charged to the Medicare supplementhe had subscribed to. Apparently the HMO coverage at his work does have much to pay for the cost of the operation. Am not sure what my HMO coverage covers and how much is the limit, there was a manual given somewhere and I think I still have it stashed somewhere. lol I guess I can just ask our company nurse about it.
Ever thought about selling stuff online? Well I have but I never fully get to implement it as there are some major points to really consider, like the hosting for the site, the Total Merchant Services and other capabilities that should be necessary for opening an online store. But with all the new technology and software applications in the market it is sometimes hard to choose and subscribe to the service.
One of the primary requisites of opening an online store is to be able to process credit card purchases and set up online delivery with the capability of letting shoppers track the status of their online purchases. I guess I’ll have to study more on the aspect of online selling before plunging head long.

Somewhere in Iraq today, a little yellow dog named Laia is starting the treacherous journey of a lifetime to the United States. She’s being saved thanks to Maj. Steven Hutchison, who adopted her, and SPCA International’s Operation Baghdad Pups. But Hutchison himself won’t be part of the homecoming: He was killed by a roadside bomb May 10 outside Basra, just three months before he was supposed to return home to Scottsdale, Ariz. When she reaches the U.S., Laia will live with a friend’s family instead.
Even among the heroic tales of sacrifice of the nearly 5,000 troops who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan, Maj. Hutchison stands out. At 60, he was the oldest combat death in either conflict. He was a decorated Vietnam vet with a doctorate in psychology. The father of two grown daughters, he had wanted to rejoin the military after the Sept. 11 attacks, but listened to his wife, who didn’t want him to go. After she died of cancer in 2006, Hutchison re-enlisted, with tours in Afghanistan and Iraq as an adviser to Iraqi forces.
Hutchison’s unit found Laia at just 1 month old in Basra. The local vet said he would have to euthanize the dog unless they adopted her as a mascot. As policy, soldiers are not supposed to adopt strays, and Hutchison defied orders to get rid of the dog, even moving her from base to base, his friend, Sgt. Andrew Hunt, told the SPCA. “He ignored this request several times up until it began to move toward punishment,” Sgt. Hunt said. “See, you couldn’t ever tell the Major he couldn’t do something, he [was] a stubborn old goat set in his ways. It was an endearing quality we loved about him.”
**** I saw this on MSN’s homepage as I was about to go through my email, it’s just so touching. Click here for the rest of the story. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/31003571/?gt1=43001
Now I can truly understand what people meant when they said they are having weight problems coz I think I am beginning to have one. *sigh* All of my travels have kept me rather occupied with thoughts of shopping and food. However with the a lot of recommendations coming from friends who much or less had to deal with weight problems they mentioned a pill called nuphedra. Given the site and the many positive reviews I thinks its worth a try.
Looking at teddies reminds me of A and how Mik and I ended buying her a red lingerie for her birthday some years back. Now saw this website selling loads of them in various designs, colors and sizes am sure if she sees them she’ll go gaga. Hehehehe miss the old days of her and Mik and I lol. Looking forward to her birthday this year.
Looking for insurance these days is not that difficult given the many options available to the consumer in the market. But the confusing part is selecting which insurance type and which provider to go for. Usually clients would go for suggestions made by friends and colleagues and of word of mouth. If you are not so sure as to what pre need plan to go for then I suggest you go for Wholesale Insurance life insurance as it basically covers the general well being of the client.
I’d like to have one of these for 2010, they are called mom agenda planner and they come in all sorts of colors, personalized to match that of the owner’s fancy. Aren’t they cute? Am such a sucker for notebooks that are cute and for planners as well but this site I went to did not stop with just there elegant planers they also have monogrammed key fobs that are just as cute and fabulous
. These cute key fobs are available at 16 dollars each for the big ones and 12 dollars each for the minis. As they are personalized to suit the taste and personality of the owner, you get to choose which fabric to use and believe they’re all cute and nice in their own way choosing which one to go for is hard. One more personalized product they have are the cute monogrammed koozies for your coffee mug and what not.
