For the Groom

While we were watching a rerun of Glee my friend commented on how she would like to have a Glee wedding too. Where instead of the usual parade of bridesmaids, flower girl and ring bearer she would have them singing and dancing like in Glee and she wants to use the same song too, Marry You by Bruno Mars. I just smiled coz the first time I saw that episode I was thinking the same thing. We were silent for a while and then asked out of nowhere what I think would be considered as unique grooms gifts. It actually made me pause and as hard as I tried to search my brain for something I came up blank.

I ♥ Damon Salvatore

I found myself falling hopelessly in love with Damon Salvatore. Yes, you got that right … I am in love with the “evil” brother, I mean who on earth can resist him? That smirk of his is just bloody sexy! LOL I’ve even managed to post his face and use it as my wallpaper whew!

Secret | Bu Neng Shuo De Mimi

Ever since I discovered this movie directed by Jay Chou [Zhou Jie Lun] I have become one of this many fans. He is just one amazing song writer, singer, pianist, director and actor. For anyone who is interested in movies involving music most especially piano pieces would find this movie very fascinating.

The piano pieces in this movie are just amazing and I was awed to find that Jay Chou wrote all the pieces. For those of you who are interested in watching it, you could download it below:

Movies

The last time I was in Singapore I visited this DVD shop that sells several blu ray movies that are at 50% discount. I did not realize that a single blu ray dvd is very expensive and even when it was already on a discount the price is still pretty steep if you compare it with regular dvd. There was a copy of Jerry McGuire and I was tempted to buy a copy since I love this movie but since I already have a regular DVD copy I decided not to give in to my impulses.

Linda Linda Linda

A friend of mine from my previous work introduced me to this movie … he said it was funny and that the soundtrack’s sort of nice. The title of the movie is Linda Linda Linda which is the title of a song by Blue Hearts (a punk bank in Japan). The movie was released in 2005 and stars the following:

Yuu Kashii – Kei Tachibana
Aki Maeda – Kyoko Yamada
Shiori Sekine – Nozomi Shiroko
Bae Doona – Son
Katsuya Kobayashi – Kazuya Oe
Takayo Mimura – Rinko

I downloaded and watched the movie earlier today and I find it funny. There was a part in the movie where a guy named Mackey (played by Ken’ichi Matsuyama) asked Son (played by Bae Doona) to go out on a date with him. He was talking to her in well rehearsed Korean while Son responded to him in Japanese. Son ended up saying … “I don’t dislike you … but I don’t like you either”. The girls played Linda Linda towards the end of the movie and their version is actually not bad … lets take a look below:

Clash of the Titans

I have seen the old movie and I cannot wait to see this one. I have always been in love with mythology thanks to mom’s influence and I just hope this one won’t disappoint me the way the Percy Jackson movie did. Will prolly watch this with MJ on the big screen come Friday.

Tinkerbell

I just finished watching the 2008 Tinkerbell movie yesterday and I must say I love it. You might say am way too old to be watching this but what I can do … I need to let my inner child out once in a while. Apart from being a fan of the opera and classic movies I also love fairy tales this being one of them, now that doesn’t sound so bad now does it??
