Monies

Isn’t it inspiring when someone you know as part of a lower socioeconomic class crosses over to the world of wealth and class all of a sudden with the little stroke of luck and hard work? It is something that I ultimately want to be a part of. Successful stories like this happen more commonly than we realize it. Nouveau Riche, as these people are called exist everywhere and as a matter of fact I personally know some individuals who make good examples. It’s not always easy to tell who will make it or not in this society but self-made individuals certainly make everything look possible.

Looking back in history and the abundant list of Nouveau Riche community, we can see a common denominator in all of them. They are all hard-working, ambitious and calculating. They usually reached their status in venturing to the business world and their risks have most definitely paid off big time.

Nouveau Riche University where participants will be provided with comprehensive training to pave the way for the self-made billionaires. Now is a good time as any to be successful.

More Silver

silver is as old as time; since the Old Testament, it has been used as by ancient people as adornments, made into kitchen utensils (silverware) and shaped into weapons, has been used to purchase or exchange goods and it even played a significant role in medicine. Today though; silver is one of the most industrially sought after metals because its properties make it suitable for different industrial use such in electrical contacts and as a conductor. It is even used in making mirrors and as a catalyst in chemical reactions. Because it contains a special antibacterial property, hospitals have found a good use for it in preventing infections for burning wounds.

It is a common fact that the demand for this precious metal exceeds its annual production since the early 1990’s and that market calculations even show an overwhelming return of investment. Experienced investors then consider today as the best time to make a silver bullion investment.

Yes, silver’s role magnificently evolved into something that is so much more important compared to the ancient days and you may have your own thoughts about it but I still personally like silver for its aesthetic beauty. I have more silver jewelries than any other precious metal.

The Keep I’ve reread for more than 10 times already, its from there I got the username: glaeken. The Solitaire Mystery, I can’t get my hands off the moment I start rereading guess you can say I’ve fallen in love with the book, the characters and the whole plot. The Night Bus,  another favorite, I’ve reread this for 3 time now. The highlighted titles in bold and pink are the ones that I have in my teeny weeny mini library but have not read yet. The ones highlighted in green are the ones I own and have done reading. To add to my collection, is a compilation of almost all Grisham books, Kings, the Vampire Chronicle by Rice and the New Tales of the Vampires. Looking through the list am amazed to see various authors I haven’t heard of … and amusing how come no one has added Agatha Christie to the list, am a fan of her too and so is my mom. Mitch Albom’s Tuesday’s With Morrie and the Five People You Meet In Heaven are also not listed yet. I’ve read and watched the movie for Tuesday’s With Morrie but I haven’t read the Five People You Meet In Heaven though I have the book. Got this meme from Turtlebella’s Site: Slow But Steady as I was surfing the net for memes, just can’t get enough of them.

5 Stuff … a tag from Lex of Parisukat.com

Mah bro, Lex of Parisukat, passed on this tag to me. Miss yah bro and thanks for the Meme.

1. How long have you been blogging?

    * Since 2006 but with a free hosting account. But I’ve been writing since I was 5.

 2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?

    * Writing has always been my passion, but it was Lex who gave me the courage to put it all out in a blog. She guided me through and has always been around answering all my questions both sensible and the not so sensible ones.

 3. Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?

 * Both I think, My Restless Feet is maintained by two gals with such opposite personalities and we rant and rave about everything and anything under the sun. With a lil earning on the side so as to cover for hosting and such. But the bigger part of the picture is we do it for fun and we make it our outlet.

 4. Tell me 3 things you LOVE about being online.

    * I get to talk to people who mattered but are just so so far away.
    * I get to think and write w/o fear of being rejected and reprimanded.
* I get to play neopets all day long.

5. Tell me 3 things you STRUGGLE within the online world.

     * Understanding how PR works, the dos and donts of blogging with it comes to making money.
     * Keeping up with the latests on friends blogs.
     * Seems like so lil time but so many many things to do.

The 7 Anonymous Tag

Got tagged by Lex of Parisukat.com; the 7 anonymous tag of people who means a lot to me , inspired me and showed they cared for me. They never reached 7, thats too much to hope for. I only have 4 people who have proven there worth through time and not just talk. People I know who will always be there through my ups and downs, who’d never turn their back on me, who have come to love and accept me despite the flaws. Who’d mean every word they say and not forget them the day after. Might say am not blessed given I only have 4 people but at least I know they’re real, not just passersby bound to leave when the going gets too tough.

- strongest person I’ve ever met, faced the odds with calm and confidence making me feel safe and happy in her company. never saw tears fall from her face till the latter part, saw through me as if she’s looking at a window, the driving force in everything I do, the reason why I smile, the reason why going home is such a bliss,  she gave me strength when I cant seem to find mine, she gave meaning to things I don’t understand, she’s my strength, the sole reason why I still struggle to survive.

- despite the difference in our age, he was one of my closest friends, believed in me when everything seemed so impossible. never left me despite my rebellious ways, carried part of the burden without any complaints and definitely the best friend any person wanted to have.

- she’s smart and sweet, has been a friend since grade school. understood my “bratilda” attitude and always seem to put up with it. has always been there when I need to be rescued for being so stupid. she has always been patient in explaining things beyond my comprehension.

- my human calculator, we were thought of as twins when we were in elementary school … like the person above she almost always put up with my “bratilda” attitude, passed it off as the “unica ija” syndrome. listened when am in my “blabber-mouth” state, acted as a big sister when am being hard headed.

4 people who mattered, who cared, who’d stand by my side no matter what, who’d always believe that I can do it, who’d always try to cheer me up through the worst nightmares. 4 people whom I know will always be around.
