For collection purposes Allie has been asking about where she could buy silver coins after she realized that if she purchase gold coins they’re a tad more expensive. I am not sure when this hobby of hers started but it appears as if she started talking about around the same time she mentioned something about collecting stamps from all over the world.
I was window shopping on Powerbooks the other day when I found various display of metal bookmarks. They all look so nice it made me buy two of them. I am what my friends call a voracious reader and though normally I do not use a bookmark I have quite a few ones at home. Searched the web for this metallic bookmarks and found really cute ones. Maya’s hobby is swapping and snail mailing to friends all over the world. She also has this habit of designing kawaii address labels for herself and for her penpals. She even designed one for me, not a label but a book label which has my name and the kokopelli design added to the label. It was pretty creative and she sent me the raw file via email in case I want to print myself a copy. There are several designs online available for printing or if you want you could design your own.
I don’t think he is what you would call vain but he does have this tendency to match things up and is obsessive compulsive when it comes to things he like such as his car. Yep his wheels is like his pride and most priced possession that its on the priority list. I mean most of what he earns goes to that baby and he has no qualms spending this and that for it … *sigh* men and their toys! I don’t really understand his fascination but I listen to him rant and rave about it nonetheless after all it seems like am the only who has the patience to put up with him … other than the boys of course. As of late he has asked me to help him decide on the several floor mats he had set his eyes on, which is hilarious for me actually as I have no clue as to how to decide which ones to go for. As if I have any clue on car parts and accessories, I keep telling him he’s asking the wrong person but he remained stubbornly adamant about it and insisted that female instinct on beauty and style is superior compared to male instincts lol.
So after unzipping the attachment he sent, I was presented with over 30 different types of mats of choose from I think my head is going on a spin. Wait isn’t this one similar to the other one I just saw …. waaaaaaa.
I’ve been out of the blogging loop for quite sometime. I got busy creating address labels and friendship books amongst other things. I manage to meet quite a few nice people on facebook who like me share the same passion in scrapbooking, penpalling and swapping. I’ve created several address labels for myself and for friends. Hope to post some of them here soon.
