I have been addicted with the anime series “Naruto” and have watched the beginning (pre Shippuden) and up till the latest episode on Shippuden and the song My Answer by Seamo is one of my favorite songs on the ending themes of Naruto. Let’s watch below:
I have noticed more and more women wearing jeans with apple bottom and I realize that this must be the current trend. I did not notice it then and there but while waiting in line at McDonalds I noticed that the lady before me had really tight skinny jeans with an apple shaped back pocket. If this is the trend now, what would be trend a year from now?
The last time I was in Singapore I visited this DVD shop that sells several blu ray movies that are at 50% discount. I did not realize that a single blu ray dvd is very expensive and even when it was already on a discount the price is still pretty steep if you compare it with regular dvd. There was a copy of Jerry McGuire and I was tempted to buy a copy since I love this movie but since I already have a regular DVD copy I decided not to give in to my impulses.
A friend of mine from my previous work introduced me to this movie … he said it was funny and that the soundtrack’s sort of nice. The title of the movie is Linda Linda Linda which is the title of a song by Blue Hearts (a punk bank in Japan). The movie was released in 2005 and stars the following:

I downloaded and watched the movie earlier today and I find it funny. There was a part in the movie where a guy named Mackey (played by Ken’ichi Matsuyama) asked Son (played by Bae Doona) to go out on a date with him. He was talking to her in well rehearsed Korean while Son responded to him in Japanese. Son ended up saying … “I don’t dislike you … but I don’t like you either”. The girls played Linda Linda towards the end of the movie and their version is actually not bad … lets take a look below:
A friend and I were wandering aimlessly around the mall the other day and we ended up checking out the merchandise on The Face Shop. It was our first time to go there and we were quite amazed at the number of beauty projects available. There were several anti aging face cream in a variety of brands and scent. I checked one out and it turns out that only people who are 30 years old and above can use it, that’s what it says on the label. My friend was busy taking photos of the inside of the shop while I was busy looking at the colorful merchandise.
Having gained an enormous 20 lbs. in the past 3 months have made me worried. Being this big is something new as I am used to just being a 107 lbs. Several friends suggested I try one of those slimming tablets advertised on TV and online but I decided I’d stick to my diet coffee and my jogging regimen and wait until it works. Hopefully I’d see some changes after two to three months. I’ve also decided to stick to GM diet and I think if I am just patient and disciplined enough to follow it through then I would most definitely lose these extra pounds.
I miss eating at Golden Cowrie … *sigh* They have the yummiest sisig and dinuguan … waaaaaaaaaaaa
An old friend of my mom’s asked me once to check ebay for several brands of anti wrinkle creams. From the looks of it they were all imported and not available in any of the pharmacies here in the city. Since she is not internet savvy she does not have any account on any of the online stores and she does not have a paypal account as well. She said that if I find at least one of the brands she asked to search then I would buy it for her and she would pay me for the cost as well as the shipping. She also said she’d cook me my favorite pasta in return.
A friend of mine has been working as a virtual assistant doing web research at most and yesterday she was busy Googling for Texas truck accident lawyer. The task was for her to compile a list of lawyers and law firms that fit the key phrase and note them down on an excel spreadsheet. She was given a maximum of 50 names and a matching email, web site and contact number is also required. If all goes well she should be able to finish this project before the day ends.
Isn’t this lovely or what? My friend and I both adore the color pink and it so happened that she is in need of a pair of binoculars that when we went to the mall she asked the sales lady if they have a pink one. The sales lady said that they don’t and most likely she can get one only in customized shops or online. We found this image online and it sure is lovely.
I found this tattoo online and I would like my second to be like this … though it be colored pink on my right ankle. Weeeeeeee … will still check for other designs though.
A good friend of mine from work used to buy weight loss pills online. But when a newly opened drugstore carried those pills she want, the online shopping stopped. She has then become a regular customer and I gotta hand it to her, the pills have kept her below 120 pounds since 2006.
I used to know someone from my grad school class who is in desperate need of adult acne treatments since her face was covered with acne. Her close friends have been telling her to go see a dermatologist but they said she remained adamant. I am not sure why … given the condition of acne on her face it definitely is advisable that she go see a doctor.

A friend of mine had this image on his desktop as the wallpaper. When we first saw it we were like …. “shit! are you gay???!!!” lol he laughed and said that we could think however we want to think but he is keeping the photo as his inspiration to lose weight. He said he wants to have the same body as the guy in the picture. Shelly raised and eyebrow and we all laughed. He has been checking out the web for the best fat burner for men and has read quite a lot of reviews about the various products available. He is not really what you would call super fat just a bit chubby but he disliked the way he looks and decides its time for him to lose weight.
For the construction of her new house, she told me that she wanted to have a kick plate in place. She researched the web for possible online stores that have them and compare prices. I think she found a site that offers them at a lesser rate and offers free shipping and handling too.
I have seen this many colorful pills from my mom’s friend’s bag. It was astonishing how anyone could have so many prescriptions at the same time. It was crazy but I have to admit it was colorful. I thought at first that they were all medications but later on I realized that some of them are actually Diet pills available in Australia. She had a friend in Brisbane ship them to her here since they were not available in the city.
A newly opened boutique for shoes and bags is Amanda’s newest business and it has kept her very busy for the past 6 months. One of the things she has been busy with is the search for point of purchase displays. Amanda is not one who would just buy immediately, she likes to scour the market and compare prices and reviews.
Allie has been working as a Human Resource Personnel for one of the largest call centers in the city. Part of her job is to advise people on things such as social security disability, vacation leave benefits, maternity leaves and many more. She ends important emails to the rest of the people on the floor for any updates and notices and considers it all in a day’s work.
