What I’d Like

I know it sounds ludicrous and out of character especially if you know me personally but there’s always one thing I want to do before I get all wrinkly and old but I haven’t found the right time no I take it back I haven’t reached the point where I am confident enough to do it. But hopefully I get to do it before I reach 30 and before I get married should I ever get there. So what I want is to have someone paint me in the nude … yep you read that right. A nude painting of myself in my prime, I realized I cannot do this while I am here … I mean it has to be done by someone I’d only just for this purpose and to never see again. I’d prolly do this during one of my travels … the goal now is to look fit and feel confident enough to do it.

Company Insurance

I just found out that part of our benefits working in the company am in now is a life insurance from a leading insurance company in the country. It’s a good thing I found out before I decide to get one from a friend who has been convincing me to get one from her for years now. It would have been unnecessary and redundant lol. But I still have to understand the mechanics of the insurance we have at work, am not even sure how much is being decremented from out monthly salary as contribution. Guess I’ll have to send an email to HR and see how that works.

Wrinkles

Seeing wrinkles already when you look into the mirror? Then that means you are well aging and if you are like my mom’s friend who is rather vain and has been seeking wrinkle treatment and other beauty enhancing products over the years then you might be happy to know that something called prototype 37c has been discovered and released in the market and is said to remove wrinkles as effectively as botox without the side effects, though how that is possible is beyond me.

Scouring for Drums

There was a time when back in college when the dean of the college of commerce in the school I used to go to asked us [ a couple of her students] to scout for stainless steel drums to be used for the University Days celebration. The budget we had to that celebration wasn’t much so we had to look for drums that were rather incredibly cheap so as not to compromise the rest of the other stuff. We were given one weekend to find a company that sells the cheapest drums in the market. We found one … and I must say we managed to get a decent rate. So job well done!

Electric Cigarette

Cigarette smoking is something some of the people I know do and I don’t understand why they do it. I mean it’s an additional expense plus it could damage your health in the long run however they do it nonetheless so I guess whateber makes them happy. What came to my attention was when someone at work introduced what he called an electric cigarettes as replacement of the regular cigarettes that way he said it would be much cheaper. It’s rather strange looking and is battery operated but I still don’t understand how it could be better than the usual cigarette.

Dreaming of Bali

My restless feet is itching again! I have been dreaming of going to Bali since I was 10 ever since I saw photos of how serene the place seems to be, now I do hope that is the case and not just some illusion brought about by edited images.

Isn’t that just perfect??! I’ve dreamed of answering a call and telling the caller that I am lounging in Bali whilst sipping Pina Colada, lol. I hope someday soon I’ll be able to do just that, actually I have mentioned the idea of going to Bali to some of my friends at work and they seem to like it. Hopefully we’ll be able to do first quarter of next year.

But till then I’ll feast my eyes on the beautiful images posted on the web.

Furry Babies

I am partial to furry babies but because of my asthma I am never allowed a cat or a puppy not even stuff toys so all I can do it content myself with images posted by pet owners online of their furry babies.

Now isn’t she adorable? These very cozy pet beds are available in all shapes, styles and colors for your furry baby. I’d get one of these if I have a cute kitten or puppy.

Clash of the Titans

MJ and I finally watched Clash of the Titans and I gotta be honest with you, the visual and sound effects were astonishing but the story was not how it was lol. I’ve seen the previous movie and I love it so seeing this one no matter how modern didn’t dampen my love for the first movie. Why do they have to change it?

Losing It

While dieting and exercising are all good, for some women it really helps speed up the toning and weight loss if we pair it up with weight loss products. There are hundreds of slimming pills in the market claiming to give us speedy results but because every girl is different, what works for me may not work others and vise versa. It is our health that is in store so we better be watchful and responsible consumers.

Online Gambling

A friend of mine resigned from work for over a year now to concentrate on poker, yeah you read that right, poker. He said there are several casino games online where players can actually earn real cash if you’re really good at it. Most of the websites out there are of online casinos for us players but luckily a whole lot more have opened up Asian and European players making the game a whole lot more global. Another game a friend of mine suggested if you are not that into card games would be to try to play online roulette which could take some time getting good at but with constant practice sooner or later you would be playing like a pro.

Though I am not much of a gambler, I buy lottery tickets every once in a while but I think I might wanna start playing a couple of online games though no betting at all. It might be a good stress reliever plus learning new stuff is good too. This friend of mine has been playing poker for a year now and he’s earning lots and lots making it his primary source of income, now isn’t that great?

Digital Cameras on Sale

There are several digital cameras on sale at the mall yesterday and it was all of the great brands out there. If only I don’t have a camera already getting a pink new one would be super fabulous but since I already have a black Fuji 10.1 megapixel digicam from my auntie. The pink cannon I saw on display is amazing and is put out on a really good price, I should say it was a perfect catch.

Many have claimed to be the best but which one is really the best the consumers would ask luckily there are several websites out there dedicated to helping the consumer select by posting several if not tons of reviews both from fellow consumers and editors themselves of each product. Isn’t that a big help or what? Another way to find out if it indeed is the best weight loss product there is to consult your dietician, I mean they should know right? Besides you don’t wanna be taking something prior to a thorough consultation with your doctor who knows what effect it’d have on you.

Clash of the Titans

I have seen the old movie and I cannot wait to see this one. I have always been in love with mythology thanks to mom’s influence and I just hope this one won’t disappoint me the way the Percy Jackson movie did. Will prolly watch this with MJ on the big screen come Friday.

Jobs!

A friend of mine in the Philadelphia area has been scouring for work in the area to help her with college and all but hasn’t been much lucky as of late. But with websites such as craiglist providing good searching base plus there’s google which gives you a far broader search results. So last week when she used the keywords jobs in philly she managed to find a few jobs she might qualify for. Am wishing her luck and am crossing my fingers for her.
