My rather frequent asthma attack has caused me to be back on steroids again second time around for this year and based on my experience being on steroids gave me tremendous weight gain and though my asthma made me loss some weight but now am back on track with the weight gain problem. lol.
*sigh* But I think weight loss would my least of my worries getting through my medication and staying well is the top of my list.
Was checking on an online store when I run into their FAQ section mentioning about an order fulfillment center for international customers like me to contact should I have issues with the items I order. Sure enough I did have a few concerns one of them being the fact they offer combined shipping yet I am for shipping separately on each item. *sigh* I’ve sent them an email already and am hoping they’d respond sooner.
When I was a little kid everytime we go to the grocery I’d always stop by the candy section and pick out those candies whose packs were torn apart and mom would always scold me because that’s not allowed and that every grocery store has its own video surveillance equipment that would capture every single movement of the customers. I guess that were true as a manager did approach us once and said it’s okay for a 5 year old to go picking out those candies who were either accidentally torn apart from their packs or are just scattered around on the shelf. I miss being a kid!
If I am eyeing for a tv stand my neighbor who’s another shopaholic like me is eyeing for a rackmount lcd. Now this is what happens when you spend most of the time browsing at online sites when you’re s’pose to be busy working on handmade crafts lol. She sells online her handmade work of art that at times she just sits in front of the pc and go site hopping, in one of her hopping moments she run across a site selling the lcd and now she cant get it of her mind. Tugs!
Christmas is fast approaching and right now I am looking forward to sales and huge discounts from malls with just about everything. But the primary item on my list is a tv stand I had this delayed till the holiday seasons hoping to get it on sale. Hehehe Most appliance stores would go on sale with just about everything and if am lucky they might have a few tv stands on sale. So patience is once again an amazing virtue.
There was this movie where in the family was living in a trailer van and I thought how cool that’d be if such a setup existed here it might be cheaper coz you don’t have to pay for monthly rent and what not. Then I realized that like every other type of vehicle there is also what is called a motorhome insurance which every trailer home owners must have. Then I guess that’s another form of rent???
Sometime last September the cute couple (D and Thea) went to Hong Kong and since I’ve been there myself I offered tips and what nots and truth be told I was very excited for them, it’s like am the one going there instead of them. lol. So when they got back they brought me this cute chopstick … awwww .. isn’t that nice???
