My Restless Feet

There was that time when my desktop pc (the first ever) arrived all in tight sealed boxes wherein you’d have to wrestle with the tapes to get the pieces out. Grrr… now that was frustrating since I really wanna have it assembled then and there so I can use it. Good thing the technician who delivered the product was well equipped with the tools needed, he was also the one who assembled the pieces together and set it up for me. One of the things he brought with him was a box cutter who made the task of removing the items from their encasement easy. His handy dandy cutter looked quite similar to the image below.

Yey!!! I bugged quite a few people about it, Momie Alvie, Diva, and Aisat just to check on the status of the dates I filed for. March 23 to March 26 and from March 29 to April 2. They’re all approved which means am off to HongKong and Macau, am just freakin excited.

Women are influenced but what they see on tv, magazines and on the internet. If you’re thin you’re in, so this attitude made pharmaceutical companies rich as they develop more and more of these so called weight loss pill. But which of the many pills out in the market actually work? Though they’re approved by the Bureau of Food and Drugs but are the consumers positive that there’d be no long term side effects?

As a kid, during tree planting session, I always find it difficult to keep track of the names of the seeds we’re suppose to plant. One thing I do remember though is that oak trees are like the oldest or that their the sturdiest. Am not even sure if thats a fact or if they were just mere hearsies lol. During one of my laag moments, Kathy and I ran into this billboard and can’t help but take a picture of it.

Newly married couple Charice and Justin are on the hunt for discount furniture to decorate the house they just recently purchased. I’ve known Charice since like forever and I know she doesn’t really settle for what she considers less. Now am wondering how this hunt is gonna turn out … but I bet that what they’ll end up acquiring won’t be so discounted afterall. Good luck Just …

When asked to prepare a bag full of incontinence supplies, she was dumbstrucked and so was I … lol such a term! Anyways, it was a good thing Tracy being a med student understood what that was and led the way. So after close to 30 minutes of packing, you might wonder whats in the bag. Well, the bag was for Lynn’s uncle who’s admitted in the local hospital and in it were items for him. So in it was a couple of adult diapers, disposable briefs, washable undergarments and the likes.  A new vocabulary for me I guess. lol

Someone from a forum that I visit regularly is selling her slightly used digital camera with free 4gb micro sd at a reasonable price. Usually if you buy brandnew cameras they don’t really have inclusive memory cards with them. Since am planning to buy one hopefully before the month ends, am seriously contemplating on buying hers. But will have to check on other offers first and hopefully I’d end up with a good deal.

Yep, you got that right!! The way overdue flight is yet again cancelled. *sigh* This was s’pose to be last year’s plan … but since our VL’s were not approved and so was Feme’s passport we rescheduled it this Feb. But sad to say its gonna be cancelled … I guess for good. Seems like fate is not on our side.

Lynne made a huge purchase yesterday, she rarely goes shopping but when she does it’s gonna involve a whooping big amount of cash.  She’s been eyeing on those Fendi watches she saw online and on tv that yesterday she just made up her mind and bought one. Am not sure how much they really cost but the name itself breathes a couple hundre dollars. Oh well … she rarely splurges and when she does it really is a hughe splurge … wonder what Tim would say when he finds out.

Now Just Rite sells these cute stamps which reminds me of my elementary and highschool days. Used to have this box full of rubber stamps of different cartoon characters, there was a face of mickey mouse, a bugs bunny, face of winnie the pooh, face of piglet, and many others. Used to make them as my borders in any school art project back then. Used them as well when I started my scrapbook, two years ago. Now I think I got them stashed away somewhere, they might come handy … should I decide to finish the scrapbook that I’ve started.
