Wine never goes out of season, there is always a really good reason to enjoy it. It makes a good gift for any celebration. I’m not an expert when it comes to what is the best wine but some people are. In my search for great wines to give away as holiday presents, I came across the wine of the month Club and I must say I’m glad because they made shopping my shopping for wines all too easy.

That Recipe Book
Cooking is not my thing. As much as I’d love to try my hands on it … it just doesn’t work. Its either I end up hurting myself or I end up ruining the food. *sigh* I even bought a recipe book long time ago with Mitchy and D which up till now is still inside the plastic unopened. Can you imagine that? I should probably just give it to Mitchy as she loves to cook and she’s good at it.
An Escape
A friend of mine called up and said he’s in need of a getaway, a luxury holiday for that matter. Feed up with work like I am he has been looking forward to a relaxing luxury travel anywhere outside or inside the country. So since he was the planner of our previous escapade, I did my best of planning the next and being the net freak that I am I searched only for any possible destination that is both affordable to our pockets and something both of us would like. The beach is something we both love so its just a matter of searching for that right resort. Am definitely recommending the site to another friend whose getting married next week, who knows they might find something exotic and romantic from the site.
Haven’t decided where we might go next but m picking out a couple of options here and hopefully one of them would suit out budget so am just gonna go ahead send him the link to the site and let him see for himself so he can take a pick. Afterall its him who needs this getaway so badly.
Cable Clutter
I hate mess, and the hassle of keeping differenc wires and cables in place. As I was trying to clean my desk at home, I realized that my wires weresn’t as organized and well kept as I thought. So I turned to trying to find some solution with all the clutter going on. I am planning to use some CAT5e cable management tools so I could make sure everything is well in place.
Bingo Kid
I just came from the gym when I received a text message from my brother that I needed to buy some stuff for our house and run some errands. Great. I was all ready to go home and head to my bed in order for me to get my well-deserved rest so I can relax. Now here comes another task for me to do before that.
So I headed to the nearest mall downtown and bought the necessary things. I was strolling somewhere when I chanced upon bet365 bingo. It made me remember of the time when I was still a kid.
I was with my grandmother who liked to be with my cousins and I every Sundays or practically every weekends. She would bring us to the nearest shopping center and we’d just play games all day or even just watch a movie. But it even came to a point that we played Bingo together, and to think that this was a form of gambling and we were minors. At least they let us in because we had an elder watching over us. It sort of became a recreation activity.
Funny thing is that it went to a scenario wherein my grandma shouted “Bingo!” in the room, with all the bells ringing and all the lookouts approaching her. But then, after checking our ticket twice, it didn’t meet the requirements. It was a false alarm. It was pretty funny that my grandma who I perceived as someone very strict, just laughed at the whole thing.
Those were the days, whenever things were so simple and yet so enjoyable. That’s why every time I’d be able to see some people that play bingo, I’d just put a grin on my face, remembering the times when we were still little. It makes me want to play it not because of wanting to win, but it’s more on the reminiscing part.
Of Dating
It seems that I’m at a total loss when it comes to love life. Sometimes I try to just shrug everything off whenever people ask me questions about this certain aspect of my life. What with technology becoming fast in limiting your excuses for being single because of a number of online dating sites that are suppose to speedup up the process of romance, I’m better off placing a personal ad about a young vixen looking for love in the cosmo world.
Anyway, reading dating articles doesn’t do much as well. It just makes you ponder every now and then, especially during cold and lonely nights. When a firm hand would keep you warm all throughout. What should one do then? Does one take charge and head for the nearest watering hole picking up prospective clients herself? Or just be the conservative damsel waiting for the knight to sweep him off her feet?
Outdoor Needs
What is a carnival without gazebos, marquees and market stalls? Could you imagine a magic show without a marquee? Do you think you can still feel mystified if you see people walking around while attending a magic show? I don’t think so. Or would you attend a carnival show without any protection from the heat of the sun, the rain or even the coldness of the evening when most of carnival activities take place? And could you imagine a carnival without those stalls that sell just about anything from ice cream, pies to cotton candy?
Do you think carnivals will be as fun as it is? You know a carnival is one of those places which lets older people feel like kids again and have fun. And being there gives us an excuse to indulge on the things that kids like. Things like playing games to win a stuffed toy, have an ice cream and uh-hum, cotton candies. So I’d say, gazebos, marquees and market stalls are as important as the performers and the rides in a carnival. Marquees and gazebos conceal what’s instore for the carnval guests. I guess that’s what makes the carnival a magical and interesting place to be. For you never know just what to expect behind those covers. You my either feel satisfied or you may feel disappointed after the but at the end of the day, what you will always remember is that you had fun!

Crib and babies
Isn’t that cute? but of course it would have been cuter if that’s pink but the point is crib bedding sets are one of the primary things pregnant couples should look into. A friend once answered when I asked him why they got a blue crib when they’re having a baby girl that blue is more neutral and what happens if they have a baby boy next?
Ah ok!! So that makes sense but I say the color above is more neutral and blue is defnitely for boys. Oh well its their crib and its their baby but looking at her on a blue crib just seem so out of place.
Fireplace
In the US fireplaces are a must in every homes; they’re like the center of every home especially during the winter season. Back here where am located, fireplaces where much more for decoration purposes in huge houses in villages. Never knew the difference between gas fires and electric fires heck I didn’t even know there are various types.
Double checking on what they call electric fires and what I found out was that they’re designed to it into a standard fireplace opening. Users have the options to select the settings between 1kW or 2kW heat plus flame effect.
Then checking out gas fires I don’t see much difference, I mean aside from the shape I couldn’t tell an ounce between the two should they be placed side by side together in one place. One perfect example for a gas fire is the Be Modern Abbey which features a magnificent black cast iron polished arch with matching trim and fit and is said to be perfect for all fireplaces with natural curives. And best of all it uses natural gas.
Hmmm…well there I have the answer to the difference, the other one uses natural gas and the other one uses electricity … whhhoooppppsss … any school grader would have figured that out.

A Gift
In my circle of friends almost half are in the medical profession that during gatherings at time I feel left out as they talk about the common what nots of their jobs. Its pretty unsettling at times I’ve learned to deal with it. Saw this cute medical bracelet online that am thinking of getting one for each of them. 
Isn’t that nice or what? They’re not that cheap either so I’d better start calculating how much am gonna pay should I decide to get one for each. Whew!!
On Visual Acuity
We had our annual examinations earlier and part of the test is visual acuity. Am sure I failed on this one as I have astigmatism and my sight has never been at its sharpness. So a friend I met online suggested I get Zenni Optical $ 8 Rx Eyeglasses, they’re of good quality according to her and the Incredible Stylish New Frames From Zenni made them so fashionable that Zenni Optical was on FOX news! Can you imagine that? She asked me and I was like so long as they have pink on stock. Why not?
For Men
Of the many fanatics on sports I think men are addicted to football just as they are addicted to basketball. This was confirmed by a friend of mine whose a University jock somewhere in the US who said he actually subscribed for football picks via email and checked on them every chance he’s got. So its like football is to men while shoes and bags are to women.
Shipping Boxes
Just the other day I was looking for some medium sized shipping boxes because I have a few stuff that I need to send to my sister. A couple pair of shoes and some clothes plus books. I found just the right box to solve my problem though but I had to buy it. Till that time, I didn’t really know that cardboard boxes for package are for sale.

Online Booking
While I was continuing on living my dream of going to places and travel my heart out it occurred to me that I’ve been to Asia mostly and of the upcoming trips that I have in mind they’re all round Asia. So did a bit of research online this time searching for Athens Hotels seeing that this place is like one of the oldest civilizations there is and its so rich in culture and history something that I’d love to explore. The Pathernon, the Colossus of Rhodes and all that … so checked for packages online as well, travel packages that is for Athens and neighboring cities. Saw one which consisted of seeing cities around Greece like Sicily and other neighboring areas but damn! the total package tour was like a thousand or so US dollars and thats something I’d need to save on. Whew!!! Checked on other places as well, one of the things I do online when am done “window shopping” on various online stores is checked on hotels of various cities I dream of visiting someday. This time I checked on Rome hotels and Barcelona hotels and whew!!! not only were they so exquisite they’re pretty expensive too. But how can I complain these cities are like top caliber tourist places and are flocked every day with tourists from all over the world.
Checked on a perfect site online catering to various hotel bookings in cities all over the world, and I think am gonna go back and visit their site should I decide one day to go to Rome or Athens or Barcelona, its like the perfect site on the net to book your hotels needs.
Vacation Again!!
I sent a ping to Mark and was told he was on lunch so I waited. He came back and said my VL’s for July 22 to 24 were approved. Weeeeeee!!! How lucky can a girl get? So it was approved and right now am on what seem like a rush mission to locating vacation deals for Hong Kong. I wanna go to Disneyland and no one can make me change my mind. Hehehee Like a little kid stubborn enough to insist on getting what she wants. So Hong Kong that is … when am with him I don’t do the planning but right now when he’s in Manila and am in Cebu I’d say it’d take two to tango.
Equine
Horse back riding is famous in Baguio one of the places I’ve visited just last March, the person I was with asked if I wanna try it and I said no thanks. Lets face it they’re cute to look at but am not much of an equestrian. Am not Mikee Cojuangco, I was told that these equine smell don’t know how true and that their maintenance is quite costly. If we have body supplements to think of then equine owners have horse supplements to add to their budget.
Cute Stuff for Babies
Was out in the mall yesterday after Jen and I had our backs massaged when I saw this couple, a foreigner and a Filipina, pushing a twin baby pushchairs 
, find it so cute as there were two babies, a boy and a girl, they must be fraternal twins. I love babies mind you that after seeing them I drifted off to the baby’s section of the mall and found this cute baby travel cots, one of which is colored pink like this one 
someday if I’ll have a baby girl, her things should be all pink and baby prams like this one should be made more often … the color that is I totally adore pink and having them on a baby … its such a cute combination. 
Aren’t they cute? whew!!! You can also find lots of them online, a little searching online would yield various results for baby things, so if going to malls isn’t your kind of thing then online shopping would do you just fine. In love with pink? like me … then not to worry there are a lot of pink baby stuffs online for your baby girl. For baby boys there are loads of cute blue cribs and such as well. Its just a matter of searching.
Getting rich
Isn’t it inspiring when someone you know as part of a lower socioeconomic class crosses over to the world of wealth and class all of a sudden with the little stroke of luck and hard work? It is something that I ultimately want to be a part of. Successful stories like this happen more commonly than we realize it. Nouveau Riche, as these people are called exist everywhere and as a matter of fact I personally know some individuals who make good examples. It’s not always easy to tell who will make it or not in this society but self-made individuals certainly make everything look possible.
Looking back in history and the abundant list of Nouveau Riche community, we can see a common denominator in all of them. They are all hard-working, ambitious and calculating. They usually reached their status in venturing to the business world and their risks have most definitely paid off big time.
