Rare Coins

One of the things I fancy is old and rare coins. I remember when I was a kid; I saw some really old coins inside my mother’s drawer. At that age I didn’t think those were of value so I took one and played with it. When this neighbor saw it, she offered to exchange it all with the candies I wanted and of course I agreed. If I were old enough to realize at that time that out neighbor was a coin dealer, maybe I would’ve demanded more candy but I didn’t.

Coins come in different shapes, sizes, age and composition so its value is not all the same. Each piece holds a story; could be that of romance, mystery or who knows what else. I am an enthusiast but not an expert in collecting coins, that is why I’m trying to learn everything a dealer or a collector must know about this subject. It’s a good thing that much has been written about how to start this hobby, be it on hardcopy or online. I certainly would want to be updated on how to find the best buys and where to get the best value for my assets.
