I still can’t help but be awed at how guys in general know vehicles like girls know shoes. I am yet to meet a woman who knows at least half of the facts about cars, autos and trucks as boys do. Just yesterday on our way to work, my female colleague and I were admiring how sleek looking the parked cars were and we got lost with the names.

What captured our fancy was the huge, black pickup with a matching black tonneau cover; of course my friend and I didn’t really know that until I asked the owner who was unloading a few boxes what the cover is called. The truck itself looked very intimidating but it was the cover that got us all curious.

In that short conversation we learned that these covers are what truck owners use to cover and secure their pickup bed. There are several varieties of styles but the most common is the roll-up and the most basic type is made from cloth or vinyl. Today, fiberglass or hard plastic cover is becoming very popular because it has the best appearance and it is more secure.

Ok so I’m currently working on a plan for our 8th monthsay on the 1st of Feb and I already got ideas coming in but I still won’t wirte about it because if I do then he will find out and it won’t be a surprise anymore, right?
