Site Hosting

New domain for the new year lol. Thats what Vicki said, well she’s been using blogspot for quite sometime now but she said she wants to use wordpress and get her own domain for the first time. So she’s been bugging me for a couple of days now as to where she’d get affordable web hosting to host the domain she has in mind. To be honest, I have no clue … well I guess I do a teeny weeny bit but then again all you have to do is google it. Like duh!!! you type in your keywords and it’d give you a thousands of results. There are multiple companies both within and outside of the US that offers website hosting packages to choose from. The way I see it since she just wants a domain through wordpress then I guess a simple starter package or something like that would be fit what she needs.

This Summer

Caught her searching for las vegas hotels and was surprised when she said her family is planning of spending their summer vacation there instead of going to a beach resort or to the Caribbean. Maybe her mom is tired of spending the summer on the beach year after year, or maybe her dad wants to try his luck at poker or at the casino. Who knows? But one things for sure according to her its Las Vegas this year … just don’t forget my presents sissy … thats all.

Sony Ericsson’s X1, the phone I’ve been dying to buy ever since SE published photos of the phone on their site. Now that its out in the market am hesitant to buy it, first becuase its more expensive than the iPhone which is my second choice, second because someone close to me already has this phone. Hehehe his is black and though I can get the silver one but the thought of having the same phone with someone in close proximity is kinda … a turn off.

Guess the phone and its specs suited his status, I mean with the phone he can literally bring his work with him anywhere he goes.

She’s On Pills

Lipovox pills, that was what was printed on the receipt and on the billing statement of my card when it arrived through the mail. I had to idea Christy was buying pills when she said she wanna use my card for an online purchase. She’s already skinny, am confused why she’d still take diet pills. I’ll ask her if she’s gotten the package already as I have already been billed.

Pills Again

I noticed something in Bebang earlier so I told her that I’ve noticed her tummy has trimmed down a bit. She said the pills she has been taken has took its effect, she’s been taking it for a month now and I’ve noticed the changes. Can’t believe when she said she’s desperate to lose weight but is just too lazy to spend sometime at the gym to work it out or to even perform exercises on her own. Another friend recommended a diet pill which seems to be very popular in the US called Leptovox, told her haven’t heard of it here but if she’s coming home for the holidays she might as well bring some so we can try it out.

Which One?

A lot of the banks here offer housing loans and car loans am wondering how much the interest would be and for long would the customer pay for it. If you’d go with the government sponsored loans the terms could be as long as 30 years. I don’t think I can do that. Am not sure if these loans would be applicable outside of the country like in England or in the States for instance. But a friend of mine in the UK has been sending me photos of these Homes For Sale Kennilworth in Northampton England, she’s asking what I think and showed some more. Like the latest batch of photos were for Homes For Sale Milton Keynes Village and the last but not the least are photos of the cozy New Homes Welden. *sigh* All of them are really really nice and elegant yet cozy looking at the same time its so difficult to choose. Good thing her in laws offered them a loan to finance their own home, problem is which one to select.

Another Wish List Item

A table lamp like this would be perfect for my teeny weeny table in my room. Hehe, maybe I should have this posted on my wish list for the team’s christmas party. But then I’d also like to get a book … now am torn between the two. When I saw this lamp my mind wandered to the times of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves … lets just say the shape and contour of the lamp brought out the classics in my imagination. Its just beautiful.

Pop Them Up

Some of the men I saw at the gym put in some sort of powder diet supplements diet supplements on their drinks and am not sure why. Are they intent on using weight? there was also this girl who was twice my size who took some sort of pill before doing her rounds on the treadmill. Well I can’t blame her for trying hard to lose all those weight and I can see from the look on her face that she’s wondering why am still going to the gym. Apparently bec. of her size she thinks am thin enough and shouldn’t be doing what am doing. Well she’s wrong … am big only thing is she’s bigger hehehe.

Oh well so much for wishful thinking but I can’t blame her she’s not the only one who’s wish is way above the budget, someone placed a digital camera. Moving Out

Moving services are not that rare here in the city I lived but sometimes people find it a difficulty to search for one must be because of the price as it depends on a lot of aspect. Also often times they’d rely on friends who have contacts for tow services or maybe some of them had their own vehicles to facilitate the move. This must be a profitable business overseas but not in this place I live. If I ever moved out … dunno when that’ll be but I’d probably rely on friends to help me out.

Off To Davao

Aside from bloghopping and watching movies online am also fond of checking out various travel deals online. Who knows I might bump into a nice package for Hawaii or Europe, hehehe wishful thinking. Bena, Kathy, Rich and I are going to Davao next week and I cannot wait. Another escapade for me … weee. Lose Weight

Bang Bang pinged me once, she was in the office while I was at home, she asked me about diet pills and what I thought of the new ones available online called allie. I told her am no expert on diet pills and am no nutritionist hehe but if she wants to lose weight like I do, I’d do it the “normal” way. I still go to the gym regularly and am hoping this would all pay off someday. I dont want to lose weight drastically, thats kinda scary.

Christmas is just around the corner and boy do I smell a banquet looming. lol That’d mean bad for my diet as I certainly cannot resist mouth watering goodies. A couple of friends already invited me to celebrate christmas with them and there’s the company christmas ball to look forward to. So I heard someone talking about the latest or shall I say the best diet pill in town, is it gonna work? Its more like a comfort zone to give us an excuse to splurge this holiday.

That Dress

Now isn’t this dress fancy? With the upcoming company Christmas ball, everyone is on the look out for that perfect dress. Am not sure yet if I’ll ever attend but am considering it, though the hassle of looking for a dress doesn’t really excite me, but I did find quite a few nice dresses online and the picture above is an example its one of those expensive and super elegant Oscar de la Renta dress collection. Its a stunning blue and I love the shoes the model’s wearing to complete the ensemble. Maybe I’d look for something …. similar.

Sale

The holiday is fast approaching and everyone is in the mood for Christmas Shopping, I’ve done my share earlier. On an impulse I bought a cute pink hello kitty purse for Jenny and I bought a pink transparent shoulder bag for myself. lol Am also waiting for any event that’d occur in any of those shopping sites I got bookmarked, even though most of them don’t really ship items to the Philippines but I’ve got a couple of friends over there who are coming home for the holiday season that can bring them home to me. Someone who’s having terrible bouts of migraine is advised to get a pair of glasses, lol I know she’s in a tight budget right now so she thinks she’ll never be able to get one till next year. At Last!!

Yey!!! My very own Iklear solution pack, Eds went to Manila for 3 weeks and I asked him if he could look this kit for me in one of the Apple Stores there, as there’s none available in all three iStore’s here in Cebu. He arrived last Sunday and gave me this pack tuesday morning at the office. Hehe my macbook needs a good deal of cleaning and this one is the perfect solution.

Lol, then why not get one of those no exam life insurance, most insurance companies the typical ones would ask for tests, various tests to check on the applicant’s current health status. Often times they’d be disapproved because of some exisiting health problems. Now there are companies outhere offering various type of insurance, better check them out before closing up a deal.

Sweet

Aren’t they just perfect? Am not such a sucker for flowers, I appreciate them, yes, but I wouldn’t be that fascinated if I receive them on occasion except of course if its gonna be a bouquet of pink roses … now that’s another story. Reminded of a classmate back in college, she was a nursing student and we were classmates on one of my minor subjects. We were pretty close and she told me once that her boyfriend who lives on the other side of the globe never fails to send flowers on their monthsary. Now isn’t that sweet? Its always a bouquet of red roses … sigh … am such a hopeless romantic. She said her boyfriend utilizes one of those fancy international flower delivery services to send those beautiful roses to her,  she actually demands for them in a cute sort of way and that lasted till they ended the relationship not too long ago.

Then here comes Jyn, I met her during my Graduate Studies, one of my classmates on the major subjects and we became pretty close, and just like the girl mentioned above she too has a boyfriend in the US which is now her husband (happy ending) and during their monthsary thats every 13th of the month, the guy would send her a bouquet of red roses using one of those international flower delivery service, and since we’re one day ahead the flowers would arrive every 14th of the month here in the country.

Can you tell my envy? not of the red roses but of the thought that someone cares and someone thinks of you every single day. *sigh*

So what is a credit score and why is it so important? From wikipedia, A credit score is a numerical expression based on a statistical analysis of a person’s credit files, to represent the creditworthiness of that person. A credit score is primarily based on credit report information, typically sourced from credit bureaus. So banks, credit card companies and other financial institutions would use this score to evaluate the potential risk posed by lending money to consumers. This is not limited to banks but other companies as well such as mobile phone companies, insurance, real estate and etc. They’d also based the credit limit, possibly money to be loaned and the interest rate on this score. So it’s important that you know your score to see where you stand and what you can do to improve it.

Checking for various financial institutions for your credit standing can sometimes be tedious and stressful but with the advent of technology and the power of the world wide web, there are now established companies online that offer services like instant credit score checks and when I say instant I literally mean instant like in just a couple of seconds. The wonders of technology and best of all they’re offering it for free!! Back in the old times services like this could take a couple of days, business days to be exact and would certainly come with a fee but now … its for free, so what are you waiting for? Go check credit score to know where you stand and do what needs to be done should you fall below what’s considered good credit standing.

Coffee Shop

One of my hidden desires is to operate a coffee shop of my own someday, nothing fancy and expensive like Starbucks but something of that nature but more personalized where small time bloggers/students like me can have a place to chill out. Everytime am in Starbucks I always happen to check out their display of coffee makers and blenders, same thing if am online and I ran out of things to browse I check for coffee makers and check on their prices and brands. Just lately I’ve ran into a brand from Switzerland called Jura Capresso, there line of automatic coffee espresso has earned them top honors in the coffee community worldwide. The price starts at a whooping $899 and goes higher depending on the model. *sigh* I guess this isn’t intended for small time peeps like me.
