“All I Want For Christmas Is You” … this was blaring on my neighbor’s boombax and it brought a smile to my face. Just remembered someone made so happy coz of this line. Whether it was for real or not it made him smile nonetheless and it brought out the kid in him. Can’t believe am saying this about someone way older than me but am happy seeing him happy. He was skeptical but smiling nonetheless when he showed it to me and I was like, the girl won’t just say that as a joke dude … theres some truth in it. Am a girl (though it took me almost 21 years to finally figure that out) and it’d take every ounce of consideration and mental not to mention emotional analysis before I can utter those words.

One of my many frustrations is understanding computer security and networking. A few of my colleagues are actually taking CISCO classes to satisfy their curiosity of the whole networking and security thingy. There are various schools in my area offering a course on it, accdg to them its per module and its difficult. Huhuhuhu … don’t have any educational background on techy stuff so am sure I’ll experience more than the regular nosebleed. Am still interested though … so interested that I ordered a used cisco
router from DigitalHoops Networks, Inc. as they ship internationally. Going out and scouring the flea market does not have any appeal to me at all especially as I have no clue on the do’s and don’ts in purchasing a router.
Am not sure on what I’ll do with it yet, my desktop is still not working … would probably purchase a new monitor for it but am notebook’s fine. Once my desktop’s up and running would do some experimentation on both computers with the router the moment it gets to me.
