When my mom was diagnosed of Congestive Heart Failure last February my whole world crashed. Especially as the medication for her is to have an in house oxygen system setup at home. Which we’ve done and which exhausted my savings account but she’s worth every cent and more.

THe refill for each oxygen tank cost me 600 pesos a day and now we’re at two tanks a day so that 1,200 pesos daily. If only we had an her insured with any medical insurance company it would have lessened the burden.

Found a site online its called bettercaring.com, a good place to start for people who needs answers to crucial questions about care homes for themselves and for their loved ones. You’d be able to search for registered care providers and also read on the various care options on the site.

One can also discuss there experience about the home care programs they have or issues and questions on the forum. Users can interact with another, can post and respond to queries of other users as well.

A must visit for people who are planning to get home care providers. Too bad this is in UK and available worldwide.

Was watching dvd last night with mom while foolin around my notebook, the introduction for the movie showing the producers name, Metro Goldwyn Mayer has this lion and ever since I was a kid I’ve always found it fascinating. The beauty of the lion and the sound of the roar for me is enchanting.

The sound effects on Jurassic Park was too good to be true for a novice like me. Never really thought about it, where its obtained from and how its done. I’ve always thought its there, its always available whenever producers, movie creators or whatever they’re called needs them.

Was searching for movie effects online when I came across Brian Carrington’s site, the man behind Ultimate FX which contributes greatly to films, games, software and ringtones. Was overwhelmed with how the sound effects are created, Brice used multiple mediums and manipulated various sounds to come up with a unique sound. Results are heard of in tv shows, video games and movies. Brice has to travel far and wide to capture and record the original sound, Ultimate FX being a surround sound library containing some of the most amazing and in demand sound effects.

Reading through the process that each original sound has to go through is more than overwhelming. Didn’t know a single effect which has the potential of triggering various emotions undergoes various processes.

In association with Trextones.com the functionalities of the premium edition mixer and bring it online, users can use the online tools in mixing their favorite sounds to create something new.

Brice Carrington did an amazing job with Ultimate Fix and with the Baidans Mixer with the Pinnacle Studio, they’re all visible in the video games, movies, tv shows and in cellphone ring tones.
