Glitter Photos

It seems like yesterday when he came to Cebu and I honestly never expected us to last this long but he keeps surprising me and I keep surprising myself as well. I surprise myself everytime I find myself loving him more and more. Of course we have our moments too. I’m sure I annoy him sometimes and vice versa but his disappointments are my disappointments, his pain is also my pain and he may not know it but I get more out of his achievements.

It’s amazing to love someone and be unselfish. I’ve learned some valuable lessons from my past relationships that’s why I’m not going to fall for the same trap that I set for myself. I’m more mature now and more giving, no longer the brat that always demands her ways. I no longer expect people, especially dada to drop everything off just so to please me. I now take time to actually listen to people and not just pretend. I have also learned to genuinely care for people, especially my family, dada and my friends.

So far I’ve changed for the better and I mostly awe it to my one love, my dada, my life.

Got a tag from Vera, thanks for this one gurl. According to the instruction given, isulat nang handwritten ang tagged na ito, list down three (3) things I’m/Your addicted to. But then 3 is too lil … am addicted to a bunch of stuff so I came up with at least 6. Hehehehe

  1. Everything that’s PINK – my mouse right now is a pink Logitech, my digicam is pink, my notebook (I used for my masteral classes) is pink, most of my shirts are pink … damn I just love pink.
  2. Coffffeeee – cant live without it.
  3. Blogging – am hooked and I love it.
  4. Music – the reason why am borderline on being hearing impaired, the reason why my boss call me anti-social … I’d rather have those earphones safely stuck on my ears than talk to a bunch of ass kissers and wannabes.
  5. Stationeries – a growing collection since I was in gradeschool.
  6. Photography – with or without me in it. Just love them …. Memories of people and events that mattered.

Am tagging all the people on my blogroll.

Was checking an iStore here in my area with a friend yesterday and must admit that the mac books are really sleek and savvy, the interface seem so neat. Haven’t used a mac yet, not that I don’t like it but coz it way out of my league hehehe. The gift I bought for myself is a windows based notebook, what I would give for a powerbook hehehe. I do know of someone using a macbook, she got the white one and has been downloading macintosh games to her notebook ever since she got it. She said games for mac are a bit hard to find and usually are licensed. A couple of games she has on the system are called mac solitaire, beauty salon and ladybugs. With beauty salon, players can customize the characters by changing the hair style, the mood and everything else to fit the players personality and mood. With ladybugs, players are to race against the cute ladybugs through mazes and colorful gardens. She said she searched for her games online and ran across this site which offers free mac games and now she’s spreading the news bout it.

Ever thought of redecorating your bathroom? Well I am, with our bathroom that is. Wanna place a full length body sized mirror and a dresser drawer too. Plus a bathtub and an area where we can put stainless hangar for the towels and such. Ran across a site selling bathroom vanities and mirrors and all other accessories for your bathroom. They also offer wholesale opportunities for prospective resellers.

I know of someone who love sleeping more than anything else, its like if he can have his way he’d probably spend more than the normal 8 hours for sleeping. Now that I’ve come to think of it am wondering if he’s one of those kinds who snore, maybe I should ask him. Hmmm… Now that’s a thought, on his birthday I was not able to give him anything as I have no clue what to give him now that I know he’s a sleeper and I did mention at one time that the perfect gift for him would a huge pillow am actually considering of getting him one. A personalized pillow or a Photo Blanket, aint that cute? Or maybe a photo of his favorite image or his very own image placed his pillow, that’d be cute. Maybe I’d consider getting him one, a birthday and xmas gift all rolled into one.

This happened two weeks ago, so my writing about it is very late. I wanted to write about it at that time but I simply forgot hehehe

It was just one ordinary weekday when I decided to wear fishnet stockings to work. I felt wickedly sexy (winks). Of course I didn’t really just wear it for nothing, I wanted to surprise dada and wanted him to peel it off me. I’ve played out a slideshow of scenario in my head but nothing prepared me to how dada reacted.

You know how cartoon characters bat their lashes silly when they want to be noticed by the opposite sex? Oh yeah I did the exact same thing and when dada noticed my fishnet, he was wide-eyed with a confused expression on his baby face then he blurted, “what do you think your wearing?” and I glared, “fishnets da!” and he went, “why are you wearing that?” “why not!” I shot back to my defense. I didn’t know if I was hurt,  disappointed, outraged or outraged because I was hurt and disappointed.

I got rid of the cursed fishnet, ditched it into the trashbin and gave dada the cold shoulder. It didn’t take him long to realize he was being a complete dork earlier. He apologized, showered me with hugs and kisses. I didn’t let him off the hook till he gave me an explanation as to why he didn’t like my fishnet. He tenderly explained to me his reasons for not liking it, like a father explaining to his little girl. All my defenses melted of course, especially when he said that he just doesn’t like people to have the wrong impression about me. There is some truth to what he said, we work the graveyard shift and goes home morning, I did catch a few people threw a certain look at me and it made me feel uncomfortable:)

We’re s’pose to go to Malapascua in celebration of mine and Mik’s b-day but due to circumstances beyond our control, bukie’s sched has changed instead of having the weekends off he now has work on them, Mik has unforeseen issues too .. and I have a class the whole day Saturday so it was cancelled and I was disappointed. Who wouldnt be when we’ve been looking forward to it since time immemorial and at the very last minute we have to drop it coz of this and that.

A suggested to host the tiny gathering on their loft, Saturday night but then Mik can’t attend as he’ll be out with his cousins so it was moved to Sunday evening. After shift, went to SM with Eds to see Lex then after went to A’s place for the post b-day celebration and I was so damn late, was expecting an ugly frown from her and from Mik but all I got were smiles which made me glad and it lessened the guilt that I felt. The ever amiable Aisat was with us … she was s’pose to go to Malapascua with us too, There place is really really nice and cozy what with the rooftop overlooking the entire city, made me wanna shout at the top of my lungs.

Ate a lot again, it was a night filled with talk and laughter … and photo sessions. Nyahaha. Got a pretty shoulder bag from the “couple” and Mik got a shirt which looked good on him. Was thankful for these handful of people who made life at work enjoyable … possibly the major reason why up till now I still dont have the guts to tie my shoelace and leave without looking back when waking up is already such a drag and vgh is the only escape.

Missed those nonstop laag A and I used to have, those days when we only recognize one mode of transportation and that would be the white cars for hire cruising by, when not only do we hop from one shop to another but we also hop from one restaurant to another, when cellphone batteries should always be fully charged for the pictorial sessions, when being an impulsive buyer is not a mistake, when cute pens and notebooks were a neccessity and needs to be bought just for the heck of buying, when A got tongue-tied coz of the “yummy” guy at NSB, when at the drop of a hat we decided to go to Kawasan just coz we felt like it, when it was justifiable for Mik to tag along and carry the purchases, when plans were always discarded as were both fickle-minded, when the KFC bucket meal intended for four to five people was consumed by just the two of us, when we still thought that sleep is nothing but an option.

Now things changed, our scheds are so opposite its like the north and south pole. No one can seem to take me away from this pc and A has grown busy eating ooopppsss and who knows what else.

Made me realize that its not the quantity of laags and times together that matter but it was the quality in it. The three of us dont go out as often as we used to but that didnt change what we were before … still the old friends who adored cuddly bear.

‘Twas Sunday, November 24, 2007 where Eds, Lex and I had our share of pizza marathon. After shift Eds and I waited for Lex at Chow King and ate … long before she arrived we were able to finish chao fan and rice toppings and siomai. When Lex arrived we moved to Shakeys and ordered Family Deal #1 which was a combination of one whole pizza, a platter of spaghetti, a basket of garlic bread and a pitcher of iced tea.

Over those food, we talked about work, the issues at work, who’s with whom and what’s with what. Then we talked about blogging and the whole blogging industry, from the rising mogul herself we learned a couple of valuable tips. People who’ll over hear us would most probably think we’re nuts from outer space, seems like we’re talking alieniesie when we’re on Earth. Heheheh I had fun and a full stomach, which was fine … it doesnt happen all the time.

There were pics taken but as Lex and Eds wants anonymity then I’ll just store them in my hard drive for memory’s sake.

Online casinos are so hot these days that people are raving about it.I asked some of my friends why they dig it and they gave me an almost identical answer. What makes an online casino so appealling is the generous payout and you don’t even have to leave your house for it.

Perfect for those who want to play while wearing their favorite house shirt. Want to hit big but dont really have the time to drive up town?

Then dont, just microwave left-over pizza, get a rootbeer and position yourself in front of your computer for that casinos online experience. Tell you what, that’s exactly what I’m going to try right now!

If your a guy you would know how difficult it is to find the perfect diamond engagement rings for your girl. The amount of time you exert in the haunt and the value of the ring is directly proportional to the response you are more likely to get.

I don’t want to sound materialistic but diamonds will always be a girl’s bestfriend, unlike humans, diamonds will never stab you on the back, and it lasts longer than any type of human friendship there is. If your a girl then you would hope and expect to receive your own nicely cut stud. You don’t work out, put make up on and dress to kill for nothing, do you?

The Keep I’ve reread for more than 10 times already, its from there I got the username: glaeken. The Solitaire Mystery, I can’t get my hands off the moment I start rereading guess you can say I’ve fallen in love with the book, the characters and the whole plot. The Night Bus,  another favorite, I’ve reread this for 3 time now. The highlighted titles in bold and pink are the ones that I have in my teeny weeny mini library but have not read yet. The ones highlighted in green are the ones I own and have done reading. To add to my collection, is a compilation of almost all Grisham books, Kings, the Vampire Chronicle by Rice and the New Tales of the Vampires. Looking through the list am amazed to see various authors I haven’t heard of … and amusing how come no one has added Agatha Christie to the list, am a fan of her too and so is my mom. Mitch Albom’s Tuesday’s With Morrie and the Five People You Meet In Heaven are also not listed yet. I’ve read and watched the movie for Tuesday’s With Morrie but I haven’t read the Five People You Meet In Heaven though I have the book. Got this meme from Turtlebella’s Site: Slow But Steady as I was surfing the net for memes, just can’t get enough of them.

I do know of someone using a macbook, she got the white one and has been downloading mac games to her notebook ever since she got it. She said to download games for mac are a bit hard to find and usually are licensed. A couple of mac games she has on the system are called beauty salon, ladybugs and tycoon games. With beauty salon, players can customize the characters by changing the hair style, the mood and everything else to fit the players personality and mood. With ladybugs, players are to race against the cute ladybugs through mazes and colorful gardens. She must have downloaded the game for lil Susie as its perfect Games for kids.

I’d need to change my sched for my masters otherwise I’d end up withdrawing all of them and spend the rest of the semester in another suffocating cycle. Two of my major subjects were dissolved, given the small number of students who enrolled, last Saturday there were just 4 of us and no instructor was ever present.

Earlier when I went to the Grad School Office it was full of people, old folks, youngsters like me, and the one caught in between. It was queuing with the students who has different queries and they were short staffed. Was devastated when informed that two of my majors were dissolved and that I’ll have to look for other subjects to replace them with which was such a drag.

Secured the changing/withdrawal/dropping form and was on the verge of deciding to just drop em all and not study … hate it. Good thing by the light of whatever angels surrounding me, changed my mind and would process the change of subjects next week, first thing Monday after my shift …

Dunno if its all worth it given the hassle that I’ve gone through.

Paris France, where Lestat got spotted by Magnus and made into a vampire in Anne Rice’s Vampire Lestat. An old city, the epitome of romanticism, of fashion and glamour, of elegance and the classical. The city were Christine Daae got entrapped in Eriks’s music and passion.

A relatively small city but is very much attracting visitors from all over the world. Situated on the River Seine, it has long been considered the paragon of style and the most glamorous city in all of Europe. Classical and modern in the strickest sense of the word, with the tiny alleyways and lanes to the pompous vista from Louvre to La Defense.

There’s also the reknowned landmark, Eiffel Tower built by Gustave Eiffel, where Tom Cruise proposed marriage to Katie Holmes. Whew!

Eifel Tower

Then there’s the Notre Dame de Paris, known simply as Notre Dame and is the seat of the Archbishop of Paris, considered to be the finest example of French Gothic architecture saved from destruction by Viollet-le-Duc.

Notre Dame Cathedral

The Louvre, considered to be most visited art museum in the world as of 2006 is one of the many attractions and a must visit in Paris. It houses some of the world’s most famous works of arts, such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, The Virgin and the Child by St. Anne to name a few.

The Louvre

The Sacre Coeur Basilica in the summit of Montmartre is another popular landmark in Paris France. A catholic basilica dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, also the home of a large and very fine organ built by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll for a private home in Biarritz.

Sacre Couer Basilica

Another attraction is the Arch de Triomphe, in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle. This serves to honor those soldiers who fought for France especially during the Napoleonic Wars, it also has the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The Arch de Triomphe

Then a dinner while cruising the Seine River would be most romantic especially at night. Definitely another attraction in Paris both for couples and singles alike.

Being engaged now, the next thing to plan is a wedding. Every normal princess no matter how wild she may have been in the past, dreams of tying the knot with a dashing prince. My sweetheart and I have got the hots for a beach wedding eversince we started going out. The sound of the waves, the sunrise, sunset, the fresh sea breeze, those are a few of the magic elements. It’s picturesque and even economical.

A beach wedding is economical because when you do the math, a church wedding gown is twice the price of a lovely white beach/summer dress. A tuxedo is way too costly compared to a havana shirt or a guayabera shirt. With beach weddings, you don’t have to transfer to another location for the reception plus the newlyweds can do away with the travel time normally spent in going to their honeymoon. The idea is to walk hands locked towards the honeymoon suite, or carry the beautiful bride on the grooms strong arms.

The guests will surely have a magnificent time as well and they will talk about how lovely your wedding was! You might also want to suggest to your guests that they bring their cameras and bathing suits along. They can snap pictures and if they decide to go swimming after the ceremony, they may very well do so.

Hardware and other power tools, one needs them eventually in one’s house. The problem is when the time arrives; usually you aren’t ready to repair what needs to be fixed. That’s why I chanced upon a web link that helped me a lot when it comes to restorations and renovations.

So what’s stopping you? Speed the process, visit the site and buy what you need! You can get the best deals from their place in cyberspace. You can browse through different hand and power tools, and other body shop supplies which is perfect for your electrical, mechanical, plumbing, automotive, storage and other housing needs.

Ever wondered how the Wicked Witch of the West came about? No need to ponder! You can watch the undisclosed story of the Wicked Witch and the other witches from the Land of Oz; the time when Dorothy wasn’t even in the picture yet!

Coincidentally, I chanced upon ticketsolutions.com which highlights the locations where this event will take place.

When you visit their site, you’ll be surprised at how updated the list of shows they have for every state as well as the range of seats where you can get superior viewing pleasure.  You can definitely get your money’s worth since they offer a money back guarantee for any problem you may have. Just goes to show that they don’t take anyone for granted.

So what are you waiting for? Hurry and grab your wicked tickets and be amazed at the show stopping magic this musical treat this season!

In my dreams, I was dressed like Christine Dae and the man standing in front of me was dressed like a knight in shining armor without the mask, he didn’t resemble Erik at all. I wasn’t really the girl I mean she looked like me … prettier and skinnier I think but definitely me, but it seems like I was looking from the outside. I examined the guy, he was tall and he was dark and safe to say handsome, with the aristocratic nose. He knelt down in front of the girl (w/c was me in another time) and offered a ring … I stood in the middle of them and looked at the ring, I tried taking it but my hand just passed right through it. It was a diamond twist ring with an oval pink sapphire, even in my past life I still crave for pink and this handsome man must have known that otherwise he would have picked up something else for her, for me, whatever, it was confusing.

The scene was I think in a garden below the balcony of some sorts in a castle or palace of some forgotten king. Why, I must have been the princess or another what with the elegance of the dress she’s wearing and the curls of her hair … my gosh I really was curly even in another lifetime, she didn’t look happy … her face looked strict. Damn! Do I look that strict too? Now?

She or I must not have liked him for the look on my or on her face was placid and watching their interaction unfold before me … she didn’t accept the ring nor did she offer her hand. Waaaaaaaaa so I really was bitchy even in another lifetime … and damn was I pretty.

That dream was cut short coz mom woke me up to take my meds. So that was the result of my fever….isssshhhhh state and of me browsing for gemstone jewelry. But damn it was a good one … I mean though my counterpart obviously didn’t like the guy for reasons I can’t fathom but looking at a prettier, skinnier, bitchier me was definitely worth it. Heheheeh

Remembered the movie Richie Rich and how I loved his big mansion … with the gadgets and all. Was talking to Jaydee over the phone earlier she asked me if we can go malling later in the afternoon as her hubby dearest is thinking of getting a home theater setup in their loft sometime later this month. Didn’t know Mr. Korean is interested in home theaters and British films as well but then he is and now he’s asking my help in looking for the perfect set.

Was like duh!!!! As if I’d know what to select, what the basis would be in choosing which over that. Grrr … and being the usual home buddy that I am (charness!!) I rely on google and the internet to help me get the info that I need. So instead of malling with Jaydee, just googled for discount home theater seating and sets then provided her a site that offers free shipping and handling. There’s a toll free number for her to call and make the arrangements if it ever comes to that point.

Was awakened by cough and my stuffy nose and by the constant beeping of my phone … got several birthday messages from people who didn’t bother to spare a single text message days and months ago … but in fairness they do remember my birthday and showed that they do by way of greeting.

But then what for? They were never around days and months before when I thought I needed them. Grrrr …. And you call that friends? Shallow!!!

Am not yet officially 22 years old … mom said I was born 9 minutes before the clock hits 12 midnight … so later when the clock it about to cross to the 24th I’ll be 22. What difference does it make? Nothing, its just me and useless ramblings. Got these from Lex of Parisukat.com … tosha bro :)

Strawberry Milkshake

Happy Birthday

Am turning a year older tomorrow … and am not sure if I like it. Hehehe …. will be 22 and I still feel like 12. Still crave for cotton candy despite the major damage it caused to my teeth years ago, still play in the rain like a 5 year old, still cry coz things didn’t turn out my way, still want a teddy bear like a lil girl, still act and think like a kid at most times. Can’t help it … Wafa used to say, “Ui Wena grow up kuno” huhuhu … I am trying my damnedest to say “diha” the right way instead of my usual “dira”; I’ve been laughed at coz of the way I talk, the way I react to things, the way I express my ideas. It sucks … must have been the reason why I’ve learned to just keep mum throughout meetings and gatherings … better that than have them all look my way and laugh.

Mom said … thats the result of people spoiling you … you think, you act as if you’re 12. Hahay …. so tomorrow I’ll be older … I’ll make it my b-day resolution to stop saying “dira” and use “diha” instead … and hopefully they’ll stop making fun of me.

Women, you really have a hard time understanding them. There are times that you feel that everything’s okay. But then there are also times when out of the blue, they’d rant and ramble.
Later I’ve found out it was all about the dreaded PMS or Premenstrual Syndrome, which is a set of hormonal changes that can and will prompt an extensive series of physical and emotional symptoms in women. It doesn’t matter if it’s your mother, your girlfriend, your pal, your wife, or any other lady for that matter. The fact is it affects all women and it these women also influence us men.
Sometimes, PMS is nothing more than an annoyance. Especially in moments where you want to cuddle up with her, you suddenly see violent mood swings that make you speculate if you’re talking to the same person you’ve been with since the time you’ve met her.
Thankfully, I was introduced to this site that offered PMS relief. The good thing about it is it’s all NATURAL? So for you worry-freaks out there doubting the value for your money as well as the benefits of their prescriptions, you can actually call and consult their health care professionals for more information. I will be recommending this site to my friends and relatives as this can be very helpful in acquiring the liberation that we, men also need!

Was checking out pink car spoilers for toyota online when mom laughed so hard behind me. Didn’t know she was just standing behind me, she said why are you looking at spoilers when you don’t even have a car to begin with? Heck you can’t even afford a bike how much more a car … Retorted, of course I can afford a bike … the car will follow and besides what’s wrong with imagining and wishing? It’s free anyway.

Just remembered that both Wafa and I are gaining weight … though hers is the scariest … heheheh she’s getting rounder by the minute and its freaking obvious. Since we were not able to go to school as originally planned to finish my enrollment. We stayed stuck inside Choco Fac for dunno how long then went to Body Tone (a gym) to check on their rates and perks and what nots. While we were there what caught my eye .. dunno if it did Wafa’s was the guy on the treadmill. Heheheh he was not cute or anything but he looked silly on the machine. He was huge, a reminds me of one of those nameless wrestlers, the machine looked so small with him on top of it. Just couldn’t believe he’ll lose weight “walking” on the treadmills. Would have been better if he had the machine accelerated to a faster pace.

What he was doing as so “girly” … Am so bad backbiting someone I dont even know. Heheheh but one of these days Wafa, bokie and I will be doing what he’s doing in the vain hope of losing all the fats we’re cursed to gain.
